Organic Black Tepary Beans (25 lb.)

These tepary beans make a great substitute for any recipe calling for standard black beans - although they are a different species of bean from common p. vulgaris. This varietal of tepary beans is native to northern Mexico. Tepary beans are one of the healthiest varieties around - with notably high protein and fiber levels. They have a meaty flavor and we hope they become a new favorite.
