Tahini Roasted Beans

Admittedly, these aren't the prettiest thing on the menu:)...but we suspect they might become your new favorite snack! We can't get enough of roasting beans with tahini and spices.  Enjoy!

Ingredients:

    • 1 1/2 cups of cooked beans (Garbanzo, King City Pink, Peruano...)
    • 1/4 cup tahini
    • 1 tablespoon olive oil
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

 

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. 
  2. Pat dry your cooked beans
  3. Add the tahini, oil, and spices in a large bowl and mix together.
  4. Fold the beans into the tahini mixture
  5. Place the bean mixture onto a parchment lined baking sheet
  6. Bake for 30 minutes, flipping once mid-way.
  7. Continue cooking until crispy
